What .mobi.ng is
.mobi.ng is the part of the .ng namespace associated with mobile services. It comes from an era when phones needed a separate, stripped-down version of a website, usually served from its own address.
That era is over. A modern site is responsive: the same page, the same address, laid out for whatever screen asks for it. Splitting a site across two domains now costs you duplicated content and a second set of records to keep in step, for no gain.
