About .net.ng
.net has meant "network" by convention since the 1980s, and .net.ng carries the same association in Nigeria: connectivity providers, infrastructure, technical services.
It is a convention, not a lock. Plenty of .net.ng names belong to businesses that are nothing to do with networks, usually because the name was available here and gone elsewhere. That is a perfectly good reason to take one.
Technically it is identical to every other third-level .ng: the same DNS record types, the same nameserver rules, the same certificates.
